Metal analysis
Metal analysis (copper, iron, sodium, potassium, and calcium) is performed in the Commercial Services laboratory using a Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer.
Silver, lead and other heavy metals require a more sensitive analytical technique such as Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS). We can arrange for these analyses to be performed by an external laboratory on your behalf.
Anion analysis
Chloride (as NaCl) and Sulfate as (K2SO4) analysis are performed using Ion Chromatography. We can arrange for these analyses to be performed by an external laboratory on your behalf.
