Preferred agrochemicals for use in the production of grapes for export wine
Please click here to view the Agrochemicals registered for use in Australian viticulture booklet.
. The booklet contains:- a list of major pests and diseases found in Australian vineyards
- a list of active constituents that are registered for use against each pest or disease
- some products containing the active constituent/s that are registered for use against each pest or disease
- a recommended 'restriction on use' for each active constituent used on grapes destined for export wine.
Important note on insecticides
You will observe that a number of the insecticide active constituents have no products listed. This is because, while some products containing these active constituents do have a registration for use against the indicated target, they are not regarded as 'preferred' chemicals. It is essential that you contact your winery/grape purchaser prior to the application of any insecticide (preferred or not).
