A Universal Spray Diary 2009/2010
Spray diaries are a record of agrochemical applications in the vineyard during the growing season. Every spray diary provided by the winery or grape purchaser has it's own subtle variations. Therefore, growers who provide fruit to more than one buyer, have to come to terms with multiple diaries with different formats and terminology. For this reason the AWRI in conjunction with industry have developed a universal spray diary format and set of terminology that can be used in the 2009/2010 season. This diary is designed to record the minimum amount of information that should be provided to the winery or grape purchaser. However, you must check with your winery or grape purchaser as they may require additional information.
As a positive step forward, Brown Brothers, Casella Wines, CCW, DeBortoli Wines, Fosters Group, Constellation Wines Australia, Australian Vintage, McWilliams Wines, Orlando Wines, Petaluma Wines Australia, Peter Lehmann Wines, Wingara Wine Group and Yalumba Wines will accept spray diaries completed using the AWRI diary format and terminology in the 2009/2010 season.
