Applications are invited for the position of Laboratory Technician within the Applied Biosciences Laboratory of AWRI Commercial Services. The successful applicant will provide technical support for the provision of microbiological and molecular biology testing services to the wine and beer industries.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science (or an equivalent degree or industry experience) with a focus on microbiology, molecular biology, wine science or a related field. They will have practical knowledge of microbiology and microbiological techniques, have meticulous attention to detail, be an enthusiastic learner and be a true team player. Previous experience within a laboratory is desired, but not essential.
