Applications are invited for a Project Technician position within the Commercial Services group. The successful applicant will be required to carry out routine analysis and development work using a variety of instrumentation and operate effectively in a busy team environment. A key part of this role is also to support ongoing technical trials for a range of commercial clients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This appointment is for an initial period of 12 months, with successful performance expected to lead to a more permanent role.
Practical experience in a research or laboratory environment with analytical instrumentation is essential. Experience with, or knowledge of, analytical techniques, including gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (LC), mass spectroscopy (MS) and ultra-violet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy is highly desirable.
