Position Vacant: Vintage Laboratory Technician / 6 – month contract

Applications are invited for a Laboratory Technician position within the Analytical Laboratory of the Commercial Services group. The successful applicant will need to work well within a busy team environment and be able to commence as soon as possible. This appointment will be for the 2021 vintage and will be for a period of 6 months.

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for preparation of samples and routine chemical analysis of wine and grape products using a range of analytical techniques. The Commercial Services group is NATA ISO17025 accredited in the field of chemical testing. Knowledge of this type of accreditation is preferred but not essential.

The successful applicant should have a laboratory background; the role will be suitable for a laboratory technician with seasonal laboratory experience in the Australian wine industry.
