Proceedings from WineHealth 2013 conference now available
The relationship between wine and health has been the focus of a long standing series of scientific meetings that started in Italy in 1996. The proceedings of the 2013 conference are now available online as a special issue of the journal Nutrition and Aging. This is an open access journal, so that the papers in the proceedings are freely available. Topics covered include: impacts of wine consumption on cardiovascular disease, cancers, cognitive function, dementia and mood, the role of phenolic compounds in human health, and healthy ageing. The next scientific meeting is planned for Spain in 2016.
