Peter J. Dawson

Chairman. Formerly Senior Vice President Group Operations and Technical, Constellation Wines; former Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Science and Technology, Deakin University; National Wine Show Judge; Inspector, Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation Export Approval Panel. Over 30 years technical and winemaking experience in the Australian wine industry. Board member since 2002.

James F. Brayne

BAppSc(Wine Science)

Acting Deputy Chairman. Production Director/Chief Winemaker McWilliam's Wines Pty Ltd, National wine show judge, 34 years technical and winemaking experience in the Australian wine sector. Board member 2001-2007 and from 2009.

John C. Angove

BSc

Managing Director of Angove Family Winemakers since 1983 and Chairman and Managing Director since 2001. Founding member of the Federation of Australian Winemakers Association (now Winemakers' Federation of Australia [WFA]) in 1989. Chairman of WFA Technical Committee and Audit Committee, member of South Australian Wine Industry Council, past member of WFA Brandy Committee and Packing Committee, past President of South Australian Wine Industry Association and current Executive Member. Board member since 2010.

Paul D. Conroy

LLB (Hons), Bcom

Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary, Foster's Group Limited, Member of Chartered Secretaries of Australia, the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association and former Southcorp Ltd's representative on Executive Committee of the Winemakers' Federation of Australia. Admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Courts of NSW and Victoria and the High Court of Australia. Over 15 years legal and management experience working in Australia, Asia, United Kingdom and United States. Board member since 2006.

Geoffrey R. Linton

BAppSc(App Chem), GradDip(Systems Analysis)

Manager Technical and Research, The Yalumba Wine Company, member of the Wine Industry Technical Advisory Committee (AWBC/WFA), member Strategic Directions Group (WFA), over 33 years experience in the Australian wine sector. Board member since 1995.

James A. Lumbers

BSc(Microbiol); Lit B(Public Policy)

Divides his time between Lerida Estate winery (as Chairman) and Lumbers Consulting. Previously with CSIRO, the Boston Consulting Group, The Australian High Commission, London, and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, Paris. Also previously on the Board for the Network Economic Consulting Group and Chairman of the ACT Chapter, CSIRO Alumni Association. Jim is a recipient of the Sir George Murray medal for Public Administration. Board member since 2009.

Brett M. McKinnon

BAgSc (Oenology) (Hons)

General Manager - Production at Orlando Wines. He joined Orlando Wines in May 1999 as Chief Winemaker & Winery Manager for Wyndham Estate. He has also held the roles of Group Business Manager - Viticulture & Winemaking and General Manager - Viticulture & Winemaking. Prior to joining Orlando Wines he held various commercial and winemaking roles in Australia and internationally.

Also Executive Member SA Wine Industry Association, Member SA Wine Industry Council, Member WFA/WGGA Wine Industry Relations Committee and an ASVO Professional Member. He also completed a Graduate Leadership in Innovation Program INSEAD France in 2007 and the Wine Industry Future Leaders program in 2008. Over 20 years technical, winemaking, viticulture and commercial experience in the Australian wine sector. Board member since 2008.

Jan S. O'Connor

Committee member: South Australian Wine Industry Council, Wine Industry Technical Advisory Committee (WFA/AWBC), Wine Committee Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society (South Australia), Member: International Commission of Yeasts, Scientific Board of L'Institut des Sciences de la Vinge et du Vin (ISVV), Bordeaux, France, Scientific Committee, Institut Català de Recerca en Enologia i Viticultura (ICREV), Tarragona, Spain, Editorial Board Member, American Journal of Enology and Viticulture, Annals of Microbiology, FEMS Yeast Research, Yeast, and Chair of The Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference Inc., over 29 years experience in microbiology and biotechnology. Board member since 2004.

Mark R. Watson

BEc, MBA, ACA, IPAA

Partner of the Corporate Finance division of mhm. Previously held senior finance and strategic management positions at Wirra Wirra Vineyards, FH Faulding & Co Ltd and at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Current directorships: the Starlight Children's Foundation SA Advisory Board, St Raphael's School Board (Treasurer), Southern Aqua Pty Ltd, Beach Burrito Company Pty Ltd, along with various other private company directorships. A Chartered Accountant with over 20 years finance and management experience in Australia and United Kingdom. Board member since 2008.
