Applications are invited for the position of Technical Officer within the Biosciences Team at the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI). The position will focus on the provision of technical and scientific support for research projects dealing with the microbiology of vineyards, grapes, juice and wine, with an emphasis on using molecular biology techniques for assessing genetic variation across grape and wine production systems.
The ideal candidate will be technically proficient in a laboratory environment, an excellent communicator and team player, and have a high level of integrity and scientific curiosity. Experience in microbiology, molecular biology and genomics is highly desirable.
