The Australian Wine Research Institute is calling for passionate individuals looking to kickstart their career as an Events Coordinator, in Urrbrae, SA. The Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating events, delivering top-tier customer service and providing exceptional administrative support.

The position
As an events coordinator, you’ll play a central role in creating exciting experiences in the grape and wine industry. Your responsibilities will include:

• Being the creative force behind a variety of events such as tastings, seminars, workshops, webinars and more. You will see these events through from start to finish, managing budgets, schedules, logistics, glassware, advertising and travel arrangements.
• Handling a diverse array of administrative responsibilities, from inbox management to coordinating team resources to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Collaborating closely with other teams and actively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and infuse innovative ideas into our work.
• Assisting in the maintenance of digital applications including websites, calendars, schedules and budgets.
• Supporting our in-house wine show software, including testing new features, developing system design specifications and offering responsive helpdesk support to our valued clients.
• Using data and feedback to continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness and impact of our events and activities.
• Being a vital part of the workshops team for the Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference and assisting the team with coordination of the workshops program
