Due to current circumstances related to the Australian bushfires, the AWRI Chardonnay winemaking trial tasting scheduled for Avoca has been postponed. This event will be rescheduled to a date later in the year, yet to be confirmed.
The AWRI is coming to Avoca and Pyrenees with a workshop that showcases how current winemaking practices can influence final wine style. Fifteen different wines have been made from the same batch of Chardonnay grapes using a range of different harvest dates and winemaking techniques.
This is a great opportunity to explore and compare the stylistic and compositional differences achieved when one winemaking variable is changed at a time.
