The AWRI and Agriculture Victoria will present a forum on phylloxera in Heathcote on 17 July. The forum will provide information on Agriculture Victoria’s ‘Tackling phylloxera’ program, and explanations about the national protocols for the movement of grapes, machinery and equipment. The day will also involve industry perspectives on dealing with phylloxera, hypotheticals and the latest updates on phylloxera research. An update on Australian exotic pests that pose a risk to the Australian wine industry will also be presented.
