The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has today announced its final regulatory decision on paraquat and diquat.
As this announcement will have implications for the winegrape industry, the AWRI is reviewing the final decision and supporting documents to assess the outcomes and their relevance to the Australian wine sector.
We are preparing a summary of the key practical implications for industry and will provide a further update as soon as this review is complete. The timing of this update will depend on whether clarification is required from the APVMA on any aspects of this decision.
