A sense of place

The sense of community and continuity in the Barossa has become very real working on this project – meeting and dealing with the growers allowing us access to some of their fruit. Families are caring for these old vines which go back generations, back to the original pioneers in many cases. It would have been a tough existence, and I found this tribute to these Menzel twins, which is just metres from our Lyndoch vines, especially poignant.
